Hunt, who has pleaded not guilty, is charged with first-degree murder, three counts of attempted first-degree murder and burglary of an occupied dwelling while armed in connection with the April 4, 2019, shootings on Allen Avenue. The state is seeking the death penalty, citing among other things Hunt s previous convictions, that the shooting occurred to avoid arrest or to escape, and that it was especially heinous, atrocious, or cruel.
Alexandra “Lexie” Elise Peck, 19, died at the scene. Three others had life-threatening injuries but have recovered.
