forward. i don t think there s a set back in term of what their agenda should be going forward. this is part of what governing is. dana: michael, some other conservatives thought that the democrats actually want to do this in a way that will not allow for a reconciliation process so that they can stop republicans from actually getting more accomplishments this year. is that cynical or just good politics? well, i think it s more on the cynical side. you should be able to get to 60 votes on anything that you pass anyway. some of the threshold seems to be silly. it was pretty painful process they ve been through so far in the first 14 months of this congress. you do duck debt ceiling limit vote which would be painful for some on the right. and so i mean, there are some pros and cons. you do have military spending up even more than donald trump was asking for. there s a lot that s been cooked in this cake that people will like. dana: not everybody is happy about that.
