has welcomed her five cubs into the world.
Trinity College Dublin confirmed the exciting news this week that Sam the fox has given birth to five cubs.

Sam the fox has been living on the campus for a year, and she was recently spotted with another fox named Prince.
This week they welcomed five cubs, and staff say they have been leaving food out for Sam and her family, while giving them space.

Trinity College Dublin has congratulated its unofficial mascot Sam the Fox on the birth of her cubs.
Staff at the university took to leaving food out for the animal during the first lockdown last Spring, as scraps from cafes around the city became scarce.
