The 29.9-metre MCP motor yacht
Berada has been sold. The deal was finalised by Michael Geraghty of Northrop & Johnson who introduced the buyer.
Built in 2007, she features a Brazilian influence throughout her family friendly interior styling whilst her naval and exterior architecture was penned by her builder, MCP. Her 6.7-metre beam gives her a spacious interior, with an elegant and welcoming ambience from her satin-finished maple wood and light coloured fabrics. Her main saloon flows directly to the main deck aft via sliding doors to create a large space for entertaining.
Berada can accommodate up-to 10 guests across four staterooms, including one private master. Each stateroom comes equipped with a lounge area and large en suite bathroom.

Last summer, an employee at a New Jersey-based company used a personal USB device to download something off the company system and, without meaning to, injected malware that resulted in a ransomware attack on the whole system.
Perhaps he should have known better: according to Norris McLaughlin cybersecurity law Chair Rebecca Warren, he was the company’s head of IT. Ninety percent of cyber attacks are occasioned by human error, Warren said as a panelist on NJBIZ Cybersecurity Panel Discussion on Feb. 16.
Though that statistic hasn’t changed, the number of such occasions has. There’s been an “exponential increase” in phishing and cyber attacks since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Warren said.
