File photo February 28, 2021 A TOTAL of 66 barangays in Cebu City have active coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) transmission. But the number of barangays that has not reported any transmission for the past 10 days has jumped from seven a week ago to 14.
Guadalupe, the city’s largest barangay in terms of area and population, continues to have the most number of cases with 232.
Barangay Captain Michael Gacasan said the Sunday stay-at-home measure in the barangay will continue, adding that majority of cases are medical frontliners, bank workers and their respective families.
Most of them live in condominiums and subdivisions, he said.
Guadalupe is followed by Barangays Tisa with 106 cases, Labangon with 100, Apas with 89, Lahug with 88, Talamban with 87, Mabolo with 74, Camputhaw with 73, Punta Princesa with 64 and Sambag 2 with 49.
