PORTLAND, Ore. – Out-of-state drivers who move to Oregon have often been shocked and bewildered when they try to get an Oregon driver s license and learn they have to take a written driving test.

Oregon has been a holdout, however, and that requirement is ending on June 5 thanks to a new bill signed by the governor.
