stops excuse me. starts cooperating with prosecutors. joining us now barbara mcquaid. how do you read this? could a plea deal be imminent? i believe mike flynn and his attorneys had been asking for immunity for quite some time. yeah. i think that the new report about the meeting between flynn s lawyer and mueller s team is just yet another indication that there may be cooperation or a plea deal afoot. you mentioned the report last week that flynn has withdrawn or his lawyer has withdrawn from a joint defense agreement with trump s legal team. that is a common strategy when a number of different individuals are subjects of the same investigation. their lawyers will get together. they ll share information. they ll discuss common strategies. but if one of them has decided to either plead guilty or cooperate, then it would be unethical for that lawyer to stay involved in information sharing including the exchange
