A good day to you all. Michael Bailey here, saying hello and welcome. I’ll be joined by my colleague Michael Dominski later and we'll be guiding you through a fantastic few hours of Premier League football. Our chief focus is the big one at the Etihad Stadium later, as defending champions Manchester City host morning leaders Arsenal. We have reporters at the game and every angle covered from one of the games on the season. Of course, there's a third wheel in this title race - and I'll make sure you're kept up to date here as Liverpool host Brighton, which has just kicked off at Anfield. I’d love to hear from you through the afternoon too. It’s really simple to do that - just get involved in our discussion tab (you’ll find the link here or at the top of this blog, under the kick-off time).
It will be really interesting seeing how the atmosphere inside the Etihad Stadium is later.Obviously, one imagines it will be raucous and lively, considering the match's importance in the Premier League title race. But it comes amid a backdrop of widespread fan anger at the club's perceived 'greed' in ticket price rises. As ever, we'd love to hear your thoughts on the situation, outlined eloquently by Sam Lee below.
Mikel Arteta said Friday that Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel have a “chance” at being fit for today's match. Saka withdrew from the England squad last week as a precaution after reporting to St George’s Park with an injury.Martinelli withdrew from the Brazil squad due to a foot injury sustained during the 6-0 victory over Sheffield United on March 4, while Gabriel also withdrew from the Brazil squad as a precaution. However, despite the trio not training this week, they could still feature at the Etihad today with Arteta saying: “There is a chance. They haven’t trained, but (Saturday) we have another session so there is a chance they can be available.”
