just going to fire you. he s going through a lot of you re done. and that s part of the challenge here. all of this talk around town about who is going to come in and who is kgoing to be the nex communications person, who is going to do this job. it really doesn t matter. at the end of the day if the president wants something to go a certain way, it matters who is out front. people are talking about the legislative agenda of this administration, but right now they re sitting pretty. they have a republican house and a republican senate yet there doesn t seem to be much moving forward. nothing is moving forward because they can t adopt a cogent strategy. the president is all over the lot. take infrastructure. about a month ago he said he was in favor of gas tax. as a way of raising money to invest in infrastructure. then he backed off in the most recent concept is to putty essentially no federal money into infrastructure. we can t make that work. i disagree slightly with michael
you know, michael, listening to governor talk about reince priebus chief of staff, could anybody control this president or tell him? this president is his own man, whether you re for him or against him. i have a lot of empathy for the staff because i think that he s running the show. i don t know how i d do anything differently if i were staff. in reality to the governor s point is really about command and control. you need a chief of staff who can do that. that starts with the principal, the president, who is going to accept that as part of the relationship, you know. up until trump, there s only one other person in this town who could tell the president no besides the first lady and that s the chief of staff. that is not the type of chief of staff this president wants. he wants to have his fingers on the command and control of the west wing and everything that goes out from there. i think i assume reince priebus is standing up to him sometimes, but i assume if you stand up to
