Leamington Raceway hosted the 2023 season finale on Sunday, Nov. 5 with a ten-race card to close out the season's action. Fox Valley Ontario headlined the card with a victory in the $7,000 Preferred 4, while Garrett Rooney and George Robinson topped the card as driver and trainer, respectively.
Workinitonbroadway topped the trotters in Leamington Raceway's featured Preferred 4 for trainer/driver Donnie Rankin while Garrett Rooney dominated the drivers with a five-win performance on Sunday, Oct. 8.
Dresden Raceway closed out its 2023 season on Monday (Aug. 7) afternoon with the final card headlined by the third leg of the Ontario Sires Stakes Graassroots for two-year-old pacing fillies. Trainer Melissa Lamoureux swept the two $22,200 divisions with her trainees, Tribal Dancer and Tamara Hanover.
