Nate Monroe: The last supper at River City Brewing Company

COMMENTARY | Not unlike an astonishing number of people in this city, my memories of the now-shuttered River City Brewing Co., the way I will orient it in my mind s eye, the ways I can picture even now some of its peculiarities    its dark, cavernous rooms; its wide, tall windows with a stunning view of the river; an odd maritime aesthetic that was more Gloucester than Mayport; those decaying boat slips    will forever center around former Jacksonville Mayor Jake Godbold. Why Scientists Plant Sunflowers After Nuclear Disasters

At least 8 million sunflowers blooming in Fukushima originated from here.”
