Some yet-to-be-identified gunmen on Thursday attacked Catholic St Mary’s Hospital, Okpoga in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State and kidnapped its Chaplain, Reverend Father Mark Ojotu. Confirming the incident in a statement, the Diocesan Chancellor, Rev Fr Joseph Aboyi Itodo, said that the Bishop of Otukpo Catholic Diocese, Most Rev Fr Michael Apochi, called on Christian faithful across the country to pray for prompt and safe release of the abducted priest.
