I handle the program here and its my opportunity on behalf of carnegie today to host a pair of panels that includes some of the people i admire the most in the field of contemporary china studies. We at carnegie and i think throughout the chinawatching community have had tremendous admiration for the leadership and the protection of the china leadership monitor, which is organized by professor alice miller at the Hoover Institution at stanford university. They have established a terrific record for hearing the facts as opposed to trends, feelings, things like that. The National Weather service will be sending a team out today to the area to confirm if it was actually a tornado that hit in the area. Meanwhile around here getting out the door this morning, mild conditions, not expecting any storms at all. Yesterday we had sunshine, warmth, closer to late april. This weekend with temperatures in the 70 foss, our third 70 degrees day for february, tie now with the secondmost we have had in any february since 1967. Look at this, 50s this morning with sunshine and wind that will carry us back up into the 60s. Or, not what is warm. Cooler, not quite as more.
