The 6-foot-1 junior forward has been a key factor in the Phoenix girls basketball team’s fine early-season performance. In a win against Germantown Academy earlier this month, she pulled down 13 rebounds, blocked five shots and scored 15 points; in a victory against Academy of Notre Dame two days later she pulled down 14 rebounds and blocked three shots. For the season (as of Dec. 16) she is averaging 10 ppg, 8 rpg and 2 bpg. Last winter, she averaged nine rebounds and 9.6 points per game and received All-Main Line and All-Friends Schools League girls basketball honors.
