Gun used by child who accidentally shot, killed another child found gun in back seat, cops say

A child under 10 years old found a gun left in a bag in the backseat of a car before accidentally firing it and killing another child Monday in a Fowler Street parking lot, the Fort Myers Police Department revealed Friday in a report. What started  as a day out at Fort Myers Beach continued with a medical emergency and eventually led to a tragic accident, a newly-released, heavily-redacted incident report said. An unnamed adult left a Kimber .380 caliber handgun inside a bag in the backseat of the car and it was found by a child while parked in front of Little Caesars at the Columbus Square Plaza.
