Media release: BBC Scotland coverage of Scottish Parliament elections to extend over three days
BBC Scotland’s reporting of the outcome of the Scottish Parliament election will extend over three days to ensure audiences are kept fully informed as the results of the May 6 poll are released.
Results are expected to be announced throughout Friday and into Saturday when the
final outcome should become clear. The broadcaster is producing a wide range of content across all platforms over those two days and into Sunday.
The coverage will feature news from counts across the country by the broadcaster’s teams of reporters and there’ll be interviews and analysis from the studio in more than 20 hours of rolling news programming.
