MG Hector Hector Plus Receive Price Hike

Rs 38,000 Heading over to the Hector s extended siblings, the petrol and petrol-hybrid variants in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations are dearer by Rs 28,000. Diesel variants of both seating layouts have received the highest price increment at Rs 38,000.  Both the MG Hector and Hector Plus are powered by a 170PS/350Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine and a 143PS/250Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with the option of a 48v mild-hybrid system. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual as standard, with DCT and CVT gearbox options for the petrol motor.   This third price hike for the Hector has led to a difference in pricing that edges close to the Rs 1 lakh mark when compared to the December 2020 prices.  The Hector takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV500, whereas the Hector Plus has the Tata Safari and the Toyota Innova Crysta for company. 

Hyundai 7-seater Creta Will Be Called Alcazar; To Debut Soon

  Distinct design elements include a studded grille, new alloy wheels, and a revised rear-end. Cabin looks similar to the Creta, borrowing the 10.25-inch infotainment system and 7-inch digital instrument display. It is likely to borrow the Creta’s 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines alongside its transmission options. Expect a premium of around Rs 1 lakh over the Creta. Hyundai has been working on introducing a third row version of the Creta, with the SUV being spied multiple times in the country. Now, Hyundai has finally confirmed that its upcoming offering will be called the Alcazar. It is expected to debut by mid-2021.
