Uslive with what the county is saying about expansion . Brittany Edney denise and paulthe countys department of air quality tells us that over the past two years, theyve received 35 complaints regarding wells cargomost of those dust related and that they investigate any complaints they receive. And their investigation has resulted in some violations. Brittany Edney wells cargo tells 8 news now that its dust and operating and state regulations. But the countys department of air quality says its issued 4 violations during 2015 and 2016. T
Photos of exploding power lines and a small fire that broke out mack wood road. Crews worked through the Early Morning hours to reopen wilkerson boulevard. Yesterday, the Severe Weather caused a power line to fall and the poles to lean towards the road. Most of the damage we saw yesterday is with fallen trees. Several homes will need to be repaired including this home, the Charlotte Fire Department deemed unsafe to enter. They will need to find a new way to work after trees fell on their cars. He sent me a picture of the car and i was shocked. 45 to 60 seconds before the tree fell. And a local home owner tells me the city was supposed to come out here and remove this tree yesterday. Close. What youll see is the heavier rain showers. Thats the front. Its not moving. This thing is dragging. Its going to be slow. Typically a front would roll through the bay area in a few hours. Its not. Its just sitting up there. You can see heavier rain just north up towards the Fountain Grove area. Theyre getting heavy rain. Well head out towards the park area a little further south. You have a little bit of a break there as those showers are stopping around pepper road. You go south and theres not that much activity. We take another stop. We go over to napa. Showers and light drizzle all day. Those showers will pick up in the next couple of hours or so. This is a slow mover so the rest of the bay area going whats the big deal.
