Meyer Jabara Hotels has been selected by Miami-based Pappas Hotels to manage the 95-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Aiken, S.C. The limited-service hotel without food and beverage is a top performer in the IHG portfolio. This deal marks the fourth Holiday Inn Express to be managed by MJH and its third hotel in South Carolina.
Big news was revealed during the Meyer Jabara Hotels Leadership Conference last month. President Justin Jabara reported to representatives of the company’s 31 owned and managed hotels that the company is coming off a record-setting year.
The Meyer and Jabara families have been in business together for more than 45 years. That partnership, which spans three generations, is thriving today through Meyer Jabara Hotels, a privately-owned hotel ownership and management company. Justin Jabara, president of Meyer Jabara Hotels, says that the company has a meaningful ownership stake in approximately two-thirds of its portfolio while it manages the other third on behalf of family office, private equity, developers, or other asset classes coming into the hotel space.
