He and his crew sped to the collapsed freeway and immediately began the search for victims. I felt my best role was to bird dog and go from collapsed section to collapsed section, to try to get an assessment on how many bodies need to be rescued. Meantime, neighbors in the cypress mandela neighborhood also went to work. We moved quickly in the community to see what was going on and how we could help others.
