The mexicans who settled here came looking for work and ended up creating the secondbiggest economy in chicago right here on 26th street, the mexican magnificent mile. With over hundreds of shops, i needed a local guide, so im meeting up with hollywood legend and chicago native, michael pena. You might have seen him in his breakout role in crash. We were hoping to be able to watch as this happens because its always Pretty Amazing when theyre able to do this and to keep it so contained. Obviously a lot of experts involved there. They do this for a living, and they make it so theres little you can see in that picture, theres some buildings. I mean, it almost looks like [ overlapping speakers ] theres the new stadium right next door. You could throw a rock from one to the other. It looks like theres homes. I dont know that area of atlanta myself, but they obviously have to keep this contained. It used to hold 74,000 people in there. As you mentioned super bowl in 1994, in 2000.
