The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has released a matrix of fines that erring motorists should pay under the single ticketing system as provided in the Metro Manila Traffic Code.
After 28 years, the Metro Manila Council has approved a ticketing system standardizing fines and penalties against errant motorists across the National Capital Region (NCR).

The mayors have adopted the single ticketing system through the establishment of the Metro Manila Traffic Code of 2023 which provides interconnectivity among government agencies involved in the transport and traffic management in the metropolis with harmonized fines and penalties. The single ticketing system would be convenient for motorists as they can now pay for their traffic-related violations anywhere, regardless of the city where they have been apprehended. The standardized fines and penalties will also be endorsed to the Land Transportation Office and local councils for adoption.
