SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) Use today to prepare, ABC7 News Meteorologist Mike Nicco says the strongest storm of the season is heading to the Bay Area, potentially bringing heavy rain, damaging winds and even snow. An active week of weather is heading our way and some of it is going to be extreme, warned Nicco.
Nicco s AccuWeather forecast shows its going to rain every single day until at least Sunday.
Nicco is really focused on a 12-hour window between Tuesday and Wednesday when an atmospheric river could trigger flooding on roadways, downed trees and power lines and small stream flooding.

KGO While winds relax a bit it is still a breezy night with lows in the upper 30s to the upper 40s. Wednesday is a sunny and mild day. Winds turn gusty in the afternoon, especially along the coast. Highs range from the upper 50s to the lower 70s.

Low clouds slowly return to the coast with a few spilling through coastal valleys into the bay today. You will also notice a canopy of high clouds also. Even with those, highs warm today, especially Inland. Our spread widens from middle 50s at the coast to middle 70s inland.
