After a rare week-long break from rainy weather in the heart of November, storms are returning with a vengeance to the Pacific Northwest as a series of atmospheric river storms take aim at the region, threatening flooding rainfall and snow measured in multiple feet in the mountains.
Millions of people from southeastern Texas, including the Houston metro area, to southwestern Louisiana will be on alert for severe weather Thursday as conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes, damaging wind gusts and hail during the day and into the evening hours.
