Malachy Doherty, 37, Mary Docherty, 28, and a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested at an address in Metcalfe Road, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, on the morning of Tuesday, March 30. They have all since been charged with theft. The charge relates to the theft of two black labradors from outside a Marks & Spencer store in Beam Street, Nantwich. The dogs, which were stolen shortly after 6pm on Saturday, March 27, have been recovered from the Tunstall area of Stoke-on-Trent and reunited with their owners.
