Columbia State Community College was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to receive $100,000 to transform the futures of students in the community.
FRCC is one of 11 community colleges chosen nationwide for a highly competitive grant awarded by Metallica's foundation, All Within My Hands, through the Metallica Scholars Initiative.
All Within My Hands, a foundation formed by members of the metal band Metallica, recently donated $100,000 to help Front Range Community College students pay for their schooling.
