Rush's Geddy Lee has accompanied his new memoir, "My 'Effin Life," with some new music. In conjunction with the book's Nov. 14 publication, lee released two demos "Gone" and "I Am.You Are" that were intended for his 2000 solo album "My Favorite Headache." The songs are featured on the audiobook version of the memoir and are headed to streaming services as well. Lee tells us that he discovered the demos over the course of writing the book and brought them to his friend, producer David Bottrell, who did some work to enhance them to a point Lee felt was good enough to release: "We got them to a place where they sounded great to me and they made me want to write songs again and get back into music.
