Suspected knifeman Daniel Mihai Popescu, 28, faces charges of attempting murder, as well as stalking and witness intimidation, after he allegedly attacked Andreea Pintili.
Daniel Popescu, 28, from Merthyr, was charged on Wednesday afternoon. The 29-year-old alleged victim was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
