Mersey Wave Music have been lifting spirits during these difficult times, by uniting three community choir groups; Mersey Wave (Liverpool), Runcorn Community Choir and Georgian Singers (Maghull), with virtual concerts online, singing songs such as Something Inside So Strong, You Raise Me Up and a fifty-minute Christmas Concert in 2020. Jason Ellis, Music Director and co-founder of Mersey Wave Music, a community interest company who help to promote and develop musician’s talents, based in Liverpool, said “I approached the choir groups to ask if they still wanted to rehearse on their usual days of the week, via YouTube live streams, due to the on-going pandemic.
