Canada Day on July 1 was another good day for jockey Keveh Nicholls as he booted home his third riding double in four days at Woodbine Race Track.
Nicholls’ phenomenal form, inclusive of wins astride Under The Eye and Candy’s Dream last Thursday, propels him into the top four of the jockeys’ standings.
Meanwhile, over in the United States, jockeys Reshawn Latchman and Keimar Trotman enjoyed their best evening, winning half the eight-race programme. Latchman piloted home Pistol P and Merry Merry Mojo while Trotman’s brace came via Alpine Moon and Lineage.
In Toronto, Nicholls moves on 10 wins and is now seven behind the leader Emma Jane Wilson, four wins shy of second place Kazushi Kimura and one behind Patrick Husbands.
