Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (REIM), part of Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild S.A., acquired its second U.K. build-to-rent residential development via forward funding agreement. Edmond de Rothschild REIM, through its Edmond de Rothschild Residential Investment Fund UK fund, bought the Merlin Wharf residential development in the Waterside regeneration area of Leicester for £60 million.
The Merlin Wharf development is located in in Bath Lane by the River Soar, comprising of 384 one and two-bed apartments.
The Edmond de Rothschild Residential Investment Fund UK was launched in August 2018. The fund invests in the private rented sector on behalf of European institutional investors.
