Earnest Strozier, Jr. was last seen at his home in the 2500 block of Stovall Road in Greenville, Georgia, on Thursday around 4 p.m., deputies said. A Mattie's Call, Georgia's emergency missing alert for disabled or elderly persons, has since been issued.

Man wanted for impersonating officer in Meriwether County By FOX 5 Atlanta Digital Team Published  The Meriwether County Sheriff s Office released this sketch of a man wanted for impersonating an officer. MERIWETHER COUNTY, Ga - The Meriwether County sheriff is warning about a phony cop that targeted at least two women this month for unlawful traffic stops. They released a sketch on Thursday based on the description given by the two women. The first incident happened on Feb. 2 around 11:30 a.m. Sheriff Chuck Smith said a black Dodge Charger pulled in behind her vehicle in her driveway located in the 5900 block of Whitehouse Parkway in Warm Spring. The sheriff said the man told the woman there was an issue with the registration of her vehicle. When the woman showed him the proper paperwork, the man said he was giving her a warning and left the area.

Sheriff: Woman goes missing after moving to Georgia By FOX 5 Digital Team Published  Karen Lee has been missing since Jan. 15. (Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office) MERIWETHER COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies in Meriwether County need your help finding a woman who has been missing for two weeks. Officials say 31-year-old Karen Kristina Lee had recently relocated to Greenville, Georgia from Florida. She was last seen on Jan. 15 leaving her home on the 180,000 block of Roosevelt Highway heading in an unknown direction. Family members tell FOX 5 that Lee moved to the area in December to live with her children and their father and that she was picked up from the home without her purse and with her dog Sophie.
