A man has been charged with murder after a double stabbing left one teenage girl dead and another is in a critical condition in Western Sydney.

Police were called to the Meriton Suites on Church Street in Parramatta at 10:30pm last night after a 17-year-old girl was found in the foyer with stab wounds.

A bus driver has been charged over a crash that killed a 24-year-old pedestrian in Sydney s Bondi Junction.
The young woman was hit by the bus about 10.15am on Wednesday on Grafton Street, outside the busy shopping complex.
Witnesses performed CPR until paramedics arrived but the woman died at the scene.
The 41-year-old bus driver was taken to St Vincent s Hospital for mandatory testing.
He was later charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, driving in a dangerous manner, negligent driving, and not stopping at a red light.
