Woman accused of spending $995 on bank cards stolen from Upper Hutt rest home, school

SUPPLIED A 35-year-old woman has appeared at the Hutt Valley District Court facing charges relating to alleged burglaries in Upper Hutt. (File photo) A 35-year-old woman has been accused of fraudulently using bank cards she allegedly stole in burglaries of two properties in Upper Hutt to buy nearly $1000 of tobacco and grocery products. Krystal Janet Marie Pearce​ appeared in the Hutt Valley District Court on Thursday, in front of Judge Stephen Harrop, facing two charges of entering buildings with intent to commit an imprisonable offence . The buildings in question were stated in court documents as Villa Joseph Convent and St Joseph’s School.
