Local rehabilitation nonprofit, Grace and Mercy celebrated their ninth graduating class, spotlighted their alumnae, provided updates to their 2024 fundraisi .
Local organizers said they hope the mural starts conversations about the stigma surrounding mental health.
“And then individuals that know who Team of Mercy are, and what we do, we are hoping that as they come up or as they see this, that they know that we really do have a heart for the community, and if and when they should need help, that they come and they reach out and they make those phone calls or they make the trip up here to take the picture, it gets conversation started,” Team of Mercy Executive Director, Christina Crist said.
Those with Team of Mercy said the mural is dedicated to the community.
