King s Lynn man fined for breaching Covid restrictions

A Lynn man has been fined £200 for breaching coronavirus regulations.
Samuel Oscar Smyth was arrested for being drunk and disorderly at the townâs bus station on January 5.
He was charged with that offence and being a person living in a Tier 4 area leaving his home without reasonable excuse.

The 27-year-old, of Merchants Terrace, London Road, pleaded guilty to both matters when he appeared before Lynn Magistratesâ Court on Thursday.
The hearing was told that Smyth was spotted on CCTV at Lynn police station. When an officer attended, he was seen to be waving his arms around, gesturing aggressively towards a bus driver and removing clothing.
