LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 26 (SeeNews) – Slovenian retailer Mercator [LJE:MELR] said on Wednesday it expects 2.4% growth of its consolidated revenue next year, to 2.217 billion euro ($2.7 billion).
The group plans to boost its activities on the wholesale market, continue to invest in technological innovations, as well as in the processes of understanding the desires and needs of its customers in Slovenia and the broader region, Mercator said in a statement.
Normalised earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) is seen at 169.2 million euro in 2021.
Mercator also noted it expects an increase in labour and other costs next year, adding it has already planned a number of activities to control cost growth.
