Mera Ration app now available on Android via Google Play Store.
In order to offer convenience to the citizens, the Government of India keeps on launching new mobile applications. Now, the government has launched a new ration app called âMera Rationâ which will help the users to get friendly with the new âOne Nation-One Ration Cardâ system. According to the government, the new ration app will prove useful to those ration card holders who move to new places for livelihoods.
With the help of the One Nation One Ration Card system, the government covers 69 crore National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiaries in India. The NFSA beneficiaries are used by the government to provide more than 81 crore people with âhighly subsidised foodgrainsâ through the public distribution system (PDS).Â

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution on Friday launched the ‘Mera Ration’ mobile app in line with the Central government’s One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme.
The scheme will enable beneficiaries to check foodgrain entitlement, recent transactions, status of Aadhaar seeding and also enable them register their migration details through the app.
Sudhanshu Pandey, Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution, said that the scheme which was started in four states in August, 2019 was accelerated and rolled out in 32 States/UTs by December. “Integration of the remaining four states and UTs is expected to happen soon.
