Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri taking to Twitter alleged that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) activists attacked BJP workers in villages Renjal, Mendora Mandal, Balkonda in the Nizamabad district in Telangana.

The NDRF teams had reached the ashram around midnight with boats from the village and during early hours they rescued all seven persons staying at the ashram.

HYDERABAD: Seven persons were rescued in the wee hours of Friday by teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), from a spiritual ashram in Nizamabad, that was surrounded by floodwaters from the Godavari river.
The Guru Ashram located on the riverbank in Sawel village of Mendora Mandal in the district was left completely surrounded by floodwaters due to heavy outflows from the Sriram Sagar Project (SRSP) reservoir.

NIZAMABAD: Six persons drowned in the Godavari river when the coracle (countrymade boat) in which they were travelling sank on Friday at the VIP Ghat of Sri Ram Sagar Project (SRSP) in Mendora Mandal of Nizamabad district.
One more person who was travelling with them in the dinghy was rescued following the incident.
Till now, expert swimmers recovered five bodies and a search is on for one more body.
