The deceased was said to be driving from Iyin-Ekiti and heading to Ado the state capital when a bus coming from opposite direction ran into her.
The collision caused the woman’s car to go into flames thus killing her on the spot.
Occupants of the other vehicle also sustained serious injuries.
The son of the deceased who was also in the vehicle has been hospitalised at Iyin-Ekiti Specialist Hospital.
