Kimi Cole, former chair of Douglas County Democratic Party and current Chair of the Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus, will speakat Monday s Democratic luncheon. She became chair of Douglas Democrats in March 2013 and served four terms in that position.
The featured speaker at Monday s Carson City Democratic luncheon will be Patricia Ackerman, Democratic candidate for Nevada s 2nd Congressional District (CD-2). An Emerge Nevada graduate, Patricia ran an aggressive Assembly campaign against District 39 Republican Jim Wheeler in 2018.
Air Force Veteran and Carson High math, science and special ed teacher Tod Jennings will the the guest speaker at Monday s virtual Democratic luncheon. Jennings will be on the June primary ballot as a candidate for mayor of Carson City.
