command. no ambiguous terms, first the president through the secretary of defense issues orders. so this is a very important role, and we need this information. pete: yeah. this is the same pentagon that told us the airlift in afghanistan was a maasive success. there s a lot of reasons not to believe what comes out of this pentagon, also a lot of the reason why young men and women aren t joining the military. and now it s exemplified when on monday the secretary of defense went into the hospital, and we don t and now that s become a friday night info dump? like, where are we? voters deserve to know that, and, will, to your original point, how serious is it? i ve had some pretty substantial surgeries or things where even though it s a bug deal, you re in and out, same day or next day. maybe get away with that that. five days? kayleigh: in the middle of two wars. pete: you re monitoring something or there s been some serious surgery or something that deserves to be disclosed to
reporter: i want to go ahead and bring in live former i.c.e. director and former u.s. border patrol agent tom homan. we saw earlier week border agents in yuma, arizona, turn their back on secretary mayorkas. seems like they re starting to speak out more. your reaction to what we just witnessed. as a guy who started out on the border patrol, the difference is i was able to enforce the law, and these men and women aren t able to enforce the law are. and they re not fulfilling the oath they took, and they re frustrated. for a year now, they ve been told to turn their back on border security. and for the chief to make the statement in that video that you signed up for this? no, they didn t. they signed up to enforce the laws and protect this country. they re not being allowed to do so. they mentioned to the chief we re releasing many thousands, many criminals. they want to protect this country. they re not being well served. reporter: and, griff, a source here in the rio grande
their freedom back. so now joining me now to talk about this, the president of uniform firefighters association of greater new york andrew appreciate you coming down talking to me. thanks for having me. you are vaccinated, right? yes i am. a lot of your guys aren t. a lot of men and women aren t. what s it going to mean? it means on november 1st the mayor and the commissioner will send home could be up to 45% of new york city fire department. how do you exist without 45% of the fire department. i m telling my members to go to work, stay at work and when they beg you to come back. you guys are suing in order to not have this mandate. absolutely. today we spent our time preparing lawsuits. now, did they care during the pandemic before the vaccine would come through about your health? well, i m sure you saw the way the cdc changed the story multiple times, same thing with the fire department, which you can come back to work after three days of no stooms. 10 days don
of 11-year-old boys and i don t think the messages that are being delivered in this ad are in any way foreign to them. they have kindness week at their public schools so that s a thing. and i don t think this is the same thing as saying i wish i had a kindness week. believe me, we could use one here, especially with her. men and women aren t the same. i do think, for instance, as i watch my boys go through the public school system, especially at the younger age, there should have been more chance for them to run around. i think boys physically in some cases at the younger ages need to express themselves in productive wholesome ways like a jungle gym but that s different than bullying or beating people up. yes, it is. scratching yourself and watching football, for instance, no one is stopping that, either. but the management of testosterone is a real thing we don t spend enough time on dealing with when we talk about boys. we talk about them as monsters or we talk about them
