[listing names of officers] all fired last week for use of force, and excessive use of force, and for failing to intervene and failing to render aid to nichols, the departments that had been pulled over for suspected reckless driving. he died in the hospital just three days after he was pulled over back on january 7th. police say there was an initial stop, and then pepper spray was deployed, a foot chase, then another altercation. the tennessee bureau of investigation head, david rauch, whose department is leading the ongoing investigation is the officers conduct, said, i ve seen the video. you will, too. in a word, it s absolutely appalling. the actions of these officers were awful, and no one, including law enforcement, is above the law. i assure you
