HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) The sign-up form to get a COVID-19 vaccine at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital open for those who qualify, but all appointments quickly filled up Tuesday morning.
The Memorial Hermann website posted the following statement: All appointments for Memorial Hermann s COVID-19 Vaccine Drive-Thru Clinic have been filled. We remain committed to making vaccination available to all who are currently eligible, and eventually to all patients and members of the community as soon as possible. Just days before Christmas, 400 front-line workers at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital enjoyed a lunch served by community leaders.
Baig Mohammed, owner of Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken, and Shapnik Khan joined with State Rep. Ron Reynolds and Fort Bend County District Attorney Brian Middleton on Monday, Dec. 21, to provide the boxed lunches of fried chicken and fish and veggie burgers for the hospital’s staff that has been fighting the war on COVID-19 since March.
