We spoke to several witnesses to this crash and they told us this truck was going twice the legal limits before it went airborne and that the victims include children. A pickup truck that had been going 50 to 60mileperhour, running red lights through downtown alameda, out of control, flipping down the middle of the road. Landing shopping center. This is the third shooting in four months. Reporter were in the mowry landing shopping center, theres a large Orchard Hardware supply center. A large portion of this parking lot is. There are at least 10 to 12 Freemont Police vehicles in the parking lot and this side of the lot is taped off with crime scene tape. We also understand a spokesperson from the Police Department is on their way to the scene, so we do expect to get a lot more information soon, heres what we know right now, that one person was shot by at least one Fremont Police officer and that person was taken to the hospital alive. We do not have any information about their condition at this time. But we do know from the fremont Police Department that no officers were hurt.
