Tyler Bailey was shot in the head along with Rittmanic when Darrius Sullivan, a 25-year-old career criminal, and his pregnant 26-year-old girlfriend Xandria Harris emerged from their room.
Darius Sullivan, 25, who was arrested for the murder of Bradley Police Sgt. Marelene Rittmanic on December 29, had been arrested 21 times and charged with 43 crimes since 2014.
