Glenwood Springs City Council is exploring options to increase funding for a project to build a pedestrian tunnel under Colorado Highway 82 led by the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority.
An updated requirement for sprinkler systems in new residential developments could raise building costs in Glenwood Springs but also save lives, Fire Chief Gary Tillotson said.
