Twisted Scizzors Salon continues to host Kutz for Heroes. Saturday had a great turnout with support from Adam Laxalt, many local vendors and veteran services. The salon will provide free haircuts for veterans, activity duty and first responders, plus they can find help locating available services. Event runs through 3 p.m.
The Virginia City Silent Riders are a group of volunteers who represent the western frontier which was often a dangerous and lawless place. When justice needed to be served, there wasn t always a Sheriff and Judge. Instead, there were honorable and righteous men and women who stepped in to deliver swift justice.
Participants plan, practice and travel to Virginia City, Nev., from Northern California and Utah to participate in the Virginia City Grand Prix as a group. Four persons from Team RagTag placed in the finals.
