One person was injured and another was arrested following a head-on collision Sunday morning on Davis Mill Road in Todd County.
Todd County Sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Turner investigated and determined 28-year old Norman Detweiler of Elkton had been southbound when he crossed into the path of a northbound automobile driven by 52-year old Melissa Whittaker of Elkton.
They struck head-on and Whittaker was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for multiple, non-life-threatening injuries.
Detweiler allegedly admitted he had been drinking the previous night through the morning hours and an arrest citation says he smelled of alcohol.
