The owner of a mental health illustration business was left âlost for wordsâ after finding out she was named âBusinessperson of the Yearâ at the Mercury Business Awards.
Melissa Webb, owner of Mellow Doodles, believes her win shows itâs possible to combine compassion with being business-minded.
Melissa, who is from Stamford, said: âWhen I first started I had a certain idea of what a businessperson should be.

âI wanted to run a business, which at itâs core is compassionate and so I hope thatâs the sort of businessperson I am.
